Rotorua

Using Taupo as a base we drove out for the day to visit Rotorua.

Famed for its geysers and bubbling mud. I recalled the sulphur smell from my visit as a child in 1971.

We visited the Te Puia – Rotorua, a geothermal landscape attraction that includes Maori heritage exhibitions.
